Tsunagi - Molecole cucite
Description of the artwork:
The sculptures of the Tsunagi series are born from the encounter between fragments of ceramics and delicate brass stitches. In this series, the artist employs a signature thermal shock technique: at 850°C, the incandescent clay is manually manipulated through deliberate paper contact, a process that allows the artist to "guide" the fire, creating soft grey craquelé patterns and intentional fractures.
Each piece is a “stitched molecule”—a small universe of fragility, resilience, and harmony where the unpredictable nature of heat is transformed into a visual narrative. Brass becomes a bridge of light that connects these thermal scars, tracing new relationships and giving rise to new forms.
